PINK, WINE AND PIZZA TO BENEFIT SUSAN G. KOMEN
Humble Pie, 5th and Wine and The Living Room team up during the month of October
Scottsdale, AZ — Humble Pie, the cozy neighborhood places to dine at Hilton Village and Desert Ridge, 5th and Wine in “Old-Town” Scottsdale, The Living Room in Chandler and soon to be in central Phoenix are taking the month of October very seriously. The three restaurants have set out to raise money and awareness for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation during the month of October. The group has formed a team to walk in the October 10th, Susan G. Komen the “Race for the Cure” in downtown Phoenix. Restaurant employees, their family and friends, and patrons will walk together. The group of restaurants are registered under the name THE HUMBLE PIE FAMILY.
This is a personal issue for Tim Valencia, owner operator of Humble Pie, who lost his own mother to breast cancer. Tim has organized the team to walk and has rallied support from servers and management to participate by raising money during the walk and in the restaurants. The servers in all five restaurants will be sporting the same pink and white t-shirts. Customers may purchase the t-shirt for $15, and $10 will go directly to charity. For additional information on walking with the Humble Pie Family, call Tim Valencia at Humble Pie – 480.556.9900.
